Obituary

Morris Sweet, 91, passed away Sept.13, loving husband of Elaine; beloved brother of Roselyn; brother-in-law Louis; dear uncle of Joel, David (Maura), Debbie, Zlota, Gail (Marshall), Gary, Jeff (Geri), Steven (Heather) & Christopher; numerous great-nieces & nephews; preceded in death by parents Samuel & Fannie; brothers Irving (Marion), Eugene (Lee) & brother-in-law Sy; niece Sandie & nephew Doug. Morris was a longtime employee of the Chicago Housing Authority & honorably served in the Army’s 931st Signal Battalion Company during WWII. His gift of storytelling & humor will be missed by all of his family, Reid, and his numerous sports & card loving buddies. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Smolevitz for Morris’ care. Chapel Service Thursday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
